2 Corinthians 3:7-18

At Mt. Sinai the Israelites saw the glory of God manifest in thunder, lightning, fire, a cloud, the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of God. But Paul states that the ministry of the Spirit is more glorious than what Moses and the children of Israel experienced in the wilderness. The glory of God is not characterized by physical manifestations. Rather it is being in the presence of God that results in our “being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory.”
