Acts 14:1-28

Paul and Barnabas returned to the churches that they had helped establish so that they could strengthen the disciples, the new converts. In addition to the principles already established in Acts 2 – teaching, fellowship, participation in the Lord’s Supper (communion), and prayer – Paul and Barnabas strengthen the local churches by encouraging them to remain true to the faith, to be prepared for hardships, and to appoint and pray for leaders.
