Missions, is a very
important part of New Life Ministries. We consider it a privilege to help send
the gospel around the world. We are pleased to support ten missionaries
ministering in nine countries around the world and in the United States.
Mark, Jeanie, Phillip and Jack
McClung minister in Berlin, Germany.
The German church was
able to purchase, from the government, the Treffpunkt, “The Meeting Place”, a
historic building in former East Berlin. With the help of church members and
missions teams renovation is taking place. This building will house a number of
ministries; a coffee house, Bible school, with classes and sanctuary for the
church. Pray with the McClungs that God will bring forth a great harvest of
souls in Germany.
Earl, Laura, Alex and Nathan Goodrich
minister to the children of South Africa through Sunday School teacher training,
camps, and kids crusades. This term they have been involved in setting up
drop-in centers to feed and care for children orphaned by AIDS. The children
come from school to these centers and receive help with homework, a Bible
lesson, and a meal before they go home. Many of these children live with
relatives and in deplorable conditions. Pray for more opportunities to set up
other centers and a great harvest of souls into God's kingdom.
Bob and Carol Cave as Over Seas Missions
Coordinator for Europe and the Middle East.
Much of what they do is
unknown to men but God is aware and blessing their work in this sensitive part of the world.
Pray for safety for the Cave's and the Christians working to spread the gospel of Jesus
Christ in the Muslim world.
Jon, Eunice and Josh Jee
pastured a Korean church in
our facility for three years. They felt the call of God to pioneer a new work in
Dublin, Ohio. There is a large Korean population in that area and God has been
faithful to the Jee family as they have worked, prayed, and sacrificed to
establish a thriving Korean congregation. Pray for a revival in the Korean
community in Dublin.
Vietnamese Mission Fund and Pastor Kim Tran,
who has now gone to be with the Lord, came to
the United States in the 1970's. He was a hunted man in his home country of
Vietnam, for preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He escaped to America and
God called him to began a work in Charlotte, NC. Out of that ministry came a
desire to help those still in bondage in Vietnam and out of this desire the
Vietnamese Mission Fund was born. This fund provides pastor's salaries, digs
wells to provide water for villages and builds churches where people can find
hope in Jesus. There prayer is for safety for those sharing this great gospel
and a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in Vietnam.
Ron, Phyllis and Amber Roy minister in the city of
Guadalajara, Mexico, a city of 10 million people. They went into the city, set
up a tent and began nightly revival meetings. Out of these meetings a church
began. The Roy's have been busy training leaders to carry on the work so the
tent can be moved to another part of the city to begin the process all over
again. They fight against the forces of evil and demonic oppression, pray for
guidance and protection from the Holy Spirit in this great mission field.
Cesar and Susie Yanes
pastor a Hispanic congregation
in the New Life facility. They are working to reach the Spanish speaking people
in the Concord area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are seeing many souls
saved and lives changed through the power of God. Pray that they will find favor
and in the Hispanic community.
Ernest
and Cheryl Turner have ministered on the continent of Africa for many years.
Cheryl grew up in Africa with missionary parents and grandparents and Ernest was
born in South Africa. God placed a calling upon their lives and they have been
faithful to that calling. Their ministry has been in planting churches in many
countries in Africa. Their present position is Overseas Missions Coordinator for
Africa. Ernest works with hundreds of National Pastors in training, building
church facilities, and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to this dark
continent.
Rose Boyd heads up Operation Teaching Tools:
God gave Rose a vision to help people all over the world with teaching tools. These
tools consist of computer, literature of all types and languages, sound system,
sewing machine, keyboard, guitar, school supplies and the list is endless. Since
it's beginning Rose has traveled all over the world training national leaders in
how to better share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many tons of materials are sent
out yearly from OTT's warehouse in Falcon, NC. The newest vision for OTT is to
evangelize the children of the Muslim world through education. Contact Rose at
